Just assume I want to see everything, because I really will watch pretty much anything. Except for fucking "Norbit," because some movies should just NOT get made.

So it's come to my attention that I haven't been around much. Thank you, R.C., for keeping me in line. My priorities are clearly out of line, lol. If it wasn't for Facebook, I don't know what I'd do.

I do want to thank everyone who sent me a card or some sort of gift - I really appreciated and love them all. You are all truly fantastic people! :D

Little bit of news: I got into a program that basically sends me to London to intern for two full months. Seeing as I know no one in the program and no one in London, I'm looking for a posse. Are any of you in or around the city? I will be working and going to school during the week, but most likely going off on my own on the weekends.

My question is - would any of you like to meet or get together? I'd love it if someone who knows the city could show me around or it'd just be cool to have someone to hang around with. I've been to London twice, so I've done most of the touristy stuff and I want to do some different or unique things.

You know you want to! ;)

So I have been gone what seems like forever. I promise you, it wasn't my choice. School has just been kicking my ass this semester, plus I've been interning and volunteering so it makes for a very chaotic life where ... well, most of my free time is spent going MMM NAP. Things should definitely be much better for me after one more week of hell and then I might even have something to share with you all.

Rei's post earlier reminded me I haven't done my annual CHRISTMAS CARD post. I still have the list from last year, so if you signed up on that one ... you will be getting a card whether you like it or not. But just to make sure, I'd like for everyone to sign up here too so I don't miss anyone.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GALE!

I've been gone for a couple of weeks on vacation and since my flist is at skip=980 and I can't go back any farther, I need some help. 'Cause ... woah.

Anyway, is there anything I absolutely MUST have a look at or a post that shouldn't be passed up? Even if you think I will have seen it, commenting with a link for me would be great seeing as I can't possibly get through all of these past entries.

However, I am off to try. :D

So I wrote a Doctor Who fic. When you're left without internet AND cable for what feels like 32523 days and is actually only one, you do some new things to keep you from sporking your eyes out from boredom.

Thing is - I don't want to post it anywhere without someone having a look at it. Does anyone wanna volunteer or can anyone rec me a beta for the Doctor Who fandom that doesn't mind Jack/Ten and ... erm, smut? It's slightly angsty, but all ends well, I promise!

I normally wouldn't make a post like this, but I think this is for a really good cause so I'm going to anyway. Plus, I think there are more than a few Whedonversers on my flist, so I'm hoping some of you guys will care. :)

The long and short of it is I'm working to help plan an event for Can't Stop The Serenity. Can't Stop The Serenity (CSTS) is a global organization devoted to raising awareness for charity, Equality Now. CSTS coordinates screenings of "Serenity" in major cities around the world with proceeds going to charity. Equality Now is a charity organization that works to protect the human rights of women around the world, focusing on reforming discriminatory laws and practices.

What the post is for is basically to ask for donations and pimp some eBay auctions we've got going at the moment. I want to stress to you guys that this is a seriously awesome event - it takes a showing of "Serenity," Joss Whedon's birthday, and the series finales of both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel and smashes them together for one gigantic fundraiser (or at least, that's what Austin is doing). All of the proceeds go to Equality Now, which is an amazing organization that does a lot of good work around the world. For more information, you can go here.

There are two ways to donate, should you choose to do so (which, by the way, will earn my eternal devotion and gratitude). You can donate here or you can mail a check to me (in which case, email me or comment and I'll give you the info you need).
